Data Deletion
Instructions for deleting Butterfly and connected platform data.
How To Request Deletion
Email amy@digitalarchitecturemanagementgroup.com with the subject line “Butterfly Data Deletion.”
Please include:
- The email address associated with your Butterfly account.
- The connected platform account or Page you want deleted, if applicable.
- Whether you want all Butterfly data deleted or only a specific connected account removed.
What We Delete
Upon a verified request, we will delete or disconnect:
- Connected social account records.
- Stored OAuth tokens and webhook URLs.
- Meta Platform Data associated with your Butterfly account.
- Saved drafts and publishing job records, unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal, or operational reasons.
Disconnecting Access Yourself
You can also revoke Butterfly’s access from the settings area of the platform you connected, such as Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, or Discord. Revoking access at the platform prevents future publishing but does not automatically delete existing Butterfly records, so please contact us if you want stored data removed.
Response Time
We aim to respond to deletion requests within 30 days after verifying the account owner.
