Butterfly
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 27, 2026
Butterfly by Digital Architecture Management Group helps users create, manage, and publish social media posts to connected destinations such as Discord, LinkedIn, Threads, and Facebook Pages.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Account information such as your email address.
- Post prompts, generated drafts, edited post content, and publishing history.
- Connected account information such as platform name, account or Page ID, display name, scopes, and connection status.
- OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and Discord webhook URLs needed to publish to connected destinations.
Meta Platform Data
If you connect a Meta product, such as Facebook Pages or Threads, we may receive Meta Platform Data that you authorize through Meta Login. This may include your account ID, Page ID, Page name, Threads account ID or username, permission scopes, and access tokens required to publish content you request.
We use Meta Platform Data only to provide the features you request, such as connecting an account, showing connection status, and publishing posts you create or approve in Butterfly.
How We Use Information
- To authenticate users and protect dashboards.
- To generate draft posts using Cloudflare Workers AI.
- To save drafts, publishing jobs, and account connection status.
- To publish posts to destinations you select.
- To troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and maintain service security.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information or Meta Platform Data. We share information only with service providers needed to operate Butterfly, including Supabase for database/authentication, Cloudflare for hosting and Workers AI, and the social platforms you choose to connect for the purpose of publishing your posts.
Token Security
OAuth tokens and Discord webhook URLs are encrypted before storage. They are used server-side only and are not exposed to the browser.
Data Retention
We retain account, connected platform, draft, and publishing records for as long as your Butterfly account is active or as needed to provide the service. We delete or disconnect platform data when it is no longer needed, when you disconnect an account, or when you request deletion, unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal, or operational reasons.
Your Choices
- You can disconnect social accounts in the Butterfly dashboard.
- You can revoke app access directly from the connected social platform.
- You can request deletion of your Butterfly account data and connected platform data.
Data Deletion
To request deletion, visit Data Deletion or email amy@digitalarchitecturemanagementgroup.com with the subject line “Butterfly Data Deletion.” Include the email address associated with your Butterfly account and the connected platform you want removed.
Children
Butterfly is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Butterfly changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
